Did Ol’ Chuck ever get to meet the little red-haired girl? I always thought Charles Schulz should have ended the strip with that, or at least have Chuck finally get to kick the football from Lucy. I would’ve liked to have seen him win just one in the end.

I remember this. They had to replace Charlie Brown’s actor with Dick Sargent for seven weeks.
