Did Ol’ Chuck ever get to meet the little red-haired girl? I always thought Charles Schulz should have ended the strip with that, or at least have Chuck finally get to kick the football from Lucy. I would’ve liked to have seen him win just one in the end.
As to the little red-haired girl not knowing of the spell she has on our hero, I paraphrase Paul Newman in “Cool Hand Luke”—"She knows what she’s doing. . .driving him crazy and loving every minute of it."

Salvador Dali once remarked in an interview that he’d throw himself headfirst down the stairs if it meant being the centre of attention.

I want to be the type of girl to make guys fall out of ski lifts when they see me. Maybe in my next life it will happen.

The Little Red Hair Girl strikes again. To think, she does not know or try to frustrate Charlie Brown.
