Wedding planners. I don’t even allow them in my church.

When I got married, the church insisted we use the church’s wedding planner. Being a do-it-yourselfer & frugal, I wasn’t thrilled, but went along with their rules. At least the lady was the wife of one of the staff members, and I was a childhood friend of her husband. They come in handy knowing where the tablecloths, and other wedding equipment is kept (and locked up). One problem, since this lady was new at this task, is she neglected to lock up the ladies’ purses in the church safe before the ceremony. Nothing like having to turn in a police report and call the credit card companies before leaving for your wedding night to dampen the mood!
