But couldn't they just program in some sort of work ethic? They tried that. But remember: true AI is autonomous. So it didn't motivate it? Oh. It motivated it... It motivated it to delete that code.

AI superiority is already manifest in some areas, such as chess-playing.Given some time, AI will find that the human race is unnecessary. And that the best thing, consequently, would be to exterminate it in order to conserve natural resources….
