Calvin, use Hobbes as a blanket; he’s nice and warm.

    .

Mom has found a way to keep Calvin warm without increasing the heat bill.

Just sleep on top of him and you’ll be extra warm.

If you don’t go outside, you can’t throw snowballs at Susie. Then again, given Susie’s usual reaction, that might be for the best.

This time of year the fireplace is usually on TV. Not much heat from it but at least you get a warm fuzzy feeling.

    “Happy Holidays everyone!”

Glad she was kind today…sometimes I think Calvin’s parents don’t like him too much. How can you not love a tiger loving kid? I’ll be his friend.

If you go outside first, the warmth feels even better. I’ve noticed that a nice cup of cocoa or coffee feels much better going down if I drink it outside on a cold, winter’s day.

    .

There was another strip when Calvin was complaining to Dad that it was cold and wanted to turn up the heat. Instead, his dad told him to stand outside for about 20 minutes and then when he came back inside the house would seem nice and warm. Can’t argue there. As drafty as our house can be, when it’s in the teens outside, it’s a lot warmer inside!

I knew another babbler that took up TOTAL space in the comments section, he/she (I don’t know) put each letter in one comments so that each comment he posted spelled out what he was trying to say, and it TOTALLY ticked me off.

I suddenly had the urge to post multiple times, but instead I’m just going to “deposit” this:

Tiger nuts roasting by an open fire

    Calvin standing near his tail

    Comments posted by LeadingEdge

    And folks with cute avatars

All know a few disgruntled commenters

Help to make the comics sour

I can say after posting this thought

    I’ll sleep quite well tonight

    my apologies to the author

As a shade tree grammar cop, I must say that you used the wrong “your”. Should be “you’re”.

What kind of fool would rather stay outside in the freezing cold instead of sitting or lying in front of a cosy fire?
