Tehehe, if Gil did that on purpose it was brilliant. If he didn’t it was a brilliant happenstance.

When I was in school, I too enjoyed the four day weekend. My last employer also gave us a four day weekend.

Gil always turns it around on her without trying! Good for him!

My employer gives us Friday off; and our birthday as a holiday. My birthday is usually within that four-day window, so I get a 5-day weekend!

When I worked for the Evil Insurance Company we were so busy from December through March that if you died you had to send in a replacement. We did have a four day weekend for Thanksgiving, so Hubby and I got married on Thanksgiving afternoon.

The last job I had no 4 day weekend. Worked a partial day on Thursday then work on Friday and in my case off on the weekend.

I;m thankful my SIL gets off at 5 on Thanksgiving. He is a GM at a Hotel and last year he had to work til 11, so we ate at the Hotel. I had a steak………….it wasn’t the same,

Working, and thankful for it.

I, on the other hand, loathe Thanksgiving because I have to both clean up the place and do the majority of the cooking. No, thank you.

I wish just once the teacher would put her in her place.

That fact that she is annyoed by him is a nice start.

Well with ME around, most schoolkids ALWAYS have 3 day weekends!
