Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for December 04, 2016
Transcript:
Arlo and Janis Arlo: Shall we agree to be sensible this year? Arlo: Maybe we could make one large purchase for the household and call it our gift to each other. Arlo: Maybe we could give one nice gift to each other and that'd be it. Arlo: Or we could give just little stocking stuffers and make a donation to a worthy cause! Janis: You always bring this up when you know I've finished my shopping. Arlo: YOU HAVE?!

No Janis. He’s just now realized he has no idea what to get you. To guys that haven’t figured that trick out, it’s too big a mystery to ponder.

Hubby and I haven’t exchanged gifts in decades. We’re now in our mid-70s, and don’t need a blessed thing. We have each other, a nice house, and a passel of kids and grandkids and that’s enough.

I start my Xmas shopping on January 2nd and finish by October 31st. I take my time and don’t worry about crowds or any of the hassle. Any gift purchased after November 1st is done online

Don’t worry, Arlo, Janis has already spent money on Meg because she’s never had a little girl to shop for.
