@ Jim Kerner. I think Selfy is a very worried man !

@ Night-Gaunt. I was at a Best Buy near that hospital this afternoon and tried the Ten program on an ASUS fairly high performance laptop. In the lower left corner is a windoze icon, the four little bitty squares that look like a window. Click that and a bunch of tiles and stuff came up along with a box at the bottom. Typed in Character Map and by God it showed at the top of that whole start box.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it odd that Selfy was in short sleeves in yesterday’s strip while today Dick and Lizz are dressed for a blizzard?

I really like Joe’s alternating silhouettes in panels one and two. It’s very effective. I don’t recall every seeing this done before.

The little delay might just give Selfie a chance to slip away again… Slippery Selfie

It’s been a long time since we saw Lizz wear gloves. Back in the day, she wore them all the time. Fashionable and elegant she was.

How many people knew about Selfy hiding out at the zoo? Vic had told his poker-playing friends, who probably don’t work there. Yet, other employees must have seen him and wondered who he was.

Liz coat has fur trim, so I suspect it is cold, as well as wet. I guess Sunday is when we get to see Selfy’s reward.

During the poker game it was clearly raining as shown by the window. I suspected that the wetness might play a part in the story.

But the sun was shining and it was dry in the big cat with a box scene and again in the Bullwinkle scene so the weather is a bit inconsistent.

Cue the snowstorm and a car chase. A deadly combination.

Selfy is wearing short sleeves because he is working in an indoor exhibit. If you look at the strips on November 27 and 28 you will see that the backdrop is painted. There is a door that has part of a cloud on it. He may have stepped briefly outside in yesterday’s scene with the Cape buffalo.

Something just occurred to me – Tracy says that the Zoo Director is gathering the employees, which implies that Tracy called ahead to set up this meeting. But, Selfy was never officially employed by the Zoo. If or when he hears about this summons to the front office, he will know that the jig is up as far as him hiding out in the Zoo is concerned. Even if he doesn’t figure out the cops are behind this employee gathering, he will know that he can’t go, because he will be spotted as someone who doesn’t belong. So Tracy’s hopes of taking him quietly are pretty slim.

Our concern for Margie Catchem must spill over upon her even more concerned husband, but she, not he, should be our proper focus. Lizz is filling in capably while Sam tends to his wife. But Tracy seems too optimistic by half at the prospect of taking Selfy in quietly. I doubt that it will go down so smoothly. There is ample scope at the zoo for some highly dramatic termination of the Selfy Problem….
