Yeah, you need to know anything that is going on which has a direct effect on you. But there are some things that are going on that in some ways, I’d rather not know. Like that shooting at the Florida airport. These things just help make you realize how vulnerable you are – that these things could happen anytime, anywhere, in you own workplace, in your kids’ schools, on the streets of your own city or town. We cannot dwell on it or let it make us live in fear, but it’s hard knowing these things happen far too often. Sometimes, ignorance IS bliss!

And why did the TV media spend all day preempting the regular blathering commercial laden entertainment shows while the culprit was in custody within an hour?
