in our daughter’s foray into Thanksgiving, she did all the cooking and her lovely mother-in-law (said with tongue in cheek) told her son HE was a great cook. This was after the MIL invited herself, husband, adopted kids and our SIN’s sister for dinner.
You could miss breakfast, have a bad commute, arrive late to work, have tons of stuff to do, have others yell at you, have the worst drive home and be met at the door with loving family and think you have the best life in the world……..
