Happy ending after all!

No one had ever bothered to ask the fountain why it was there.

I was wondering where the thread was going… excellent ending! Trashy humans!

With trillions of creatures walking, crawling, swimming and flying on her surface, how can Mother Earth be a virgin?

Works for me! Humans have become pathetic!

Nice twist at the end. I liked it.

That got dark quickly

A fascinating version of what if the Fountain of Youth was real? That ending worked for the Yeh-Ti who had been waiting for humanity to die out.

So, what’s worse… Kids growing up too fast, or kids not growing up at all?

@Marc with a CChristians in general are supposed to believe that Maria, who was a Jew, was a virgin. Is it actually mentioned in the Bible, what Jesus thought or knew about that matter?

Mind, this kind of skips over adult virgins, who could then mate and produce new kids presumably. I am reminded of an old Astounding story I read recently in which a man develops a way to make himself smarter by energizing the brain—with the side effect of sterility (somehow.) The good guys feared a scenario much like this one, and had to come up with a plan to (without killing him) make sure he never revealed how the treatment worked.
