We have a vending machine like that in our break room at work. Often, it will cheat people by not giving them what they paid for, but then later, someone else gets 2 candy bars or bags of chips or whatever. I never use that machine. It “eats” too many people’s money. giving them nothing in return and everything in it is way overpriced (seriously, 95 cents for a package of microwave popcorn?).

Little girl seeing a bride asks her mom, " Why does a bride wear white ?"
Mom replies, “Because it’s the happiest day of her life.”
The little girl asks, “Why does the man wear black ?”

For you, there is no doubt that two candy bars would be far more fun than getting married. It would also be far more fun for the prospective groom.

I never had that happy experience. But I have had the opposite of it, it getting stuck.
