I’d like to know where’d these Nepalese youngsters even learned such vocabulary. I’m not even sure if passers-by who are tourists would be pleased.

Wouldn’t offend me as long as they are cursing in Nepalese.

It’s not really cursing. It’s something to do with his mother and the rear end of a yak.

Good. I sure wouldn’t want sheep to graze near Strawberry Fields.

Just curse back, immerse yourself in the traditions of another culture.

Here in the USofA the “cursing festival” starts on New Year’s Day and ends on December 31!

FWIW, curses in foreign languages don’t all have to do with blasphemy, sex, or excrement. I heard about a Cambodian curse that means, “You are thunder and lightning!” Maybe the Nepalese have something similar.

Perhaps here, we could try a ten-day annual Festival where we DON’T…?

I have friends who take turns giving each other the same book as a Christmas gift. Neither of them has read it.

If someone curses at me I just walk away. Cursing in a conversation with me ends that conversation.

I can imagine parents to children in that town: “Stop cussing and save it for the holiday!!”

May every tooth in your head fall out except for the one that’s hurting!

I’ve heard there are no curse words in Native American languages. So, someone asked one time what do you do if, say, you drop a rock on your foot? “Then we speak white man language.”

Then there was Calvin that called the library: I need the definition of a word, but I’m not allowed to say it. So, just rattle off all the curse words you know and I’ll stop you when you come to it!
