Personally, I like to feed tangerine slices to the grackles. They strut across the parking lot with them held high in their beaks, as if to say “look what I have and all the rest of you losers don’t!”
With me it’s the mourning doves and quail, then the small birds, then the chipmunks. They come in waves and I’m fearful of what they would do if I neglected to put out enough seed.
Hmm, maybe I could make a movie about a huge gathering of birds that attacks humans…. naw, never catch on….

Someone should teach this pigeon how to use a semicolon. Or em dashes. It doesn’t always have to be another comma, pigeon!
