C"mon, now. Mrs Olsen is a nice old bat. Cheer her up.

I feel sorry for anyone for whom “another year down the drain” is a proper Christmas greeting.

Would “Another year closer to retirement” have been equally apt for Mrs. Olsen, but more upbeat for Caulfield?

And Caulfield helped! You’re welcome Mrs Olsen.

Or- “May you be in Heaven an hour before the Devil knows you’re dead”.

Why are they still in school, and not out on Christmas break?Or whatever term is used now.

Wow. That kid is a complete douche.
