Wow! The Christmas festivities kept me from checking in on gocomics yesterday so needless to say I got the best Christmas present *ever this morning when I looked back a day.
A tip of the old yellow fedora to Team Tracy for a fun holiday celebration and for taking us back to Walt Kelly’s gang from the Okefenokee Swamp.
(*actually a tie for best present. My youngest son gave a a DVD of Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol)
That aeroplane looks interesting. Perhaps too many antennas for a simple private jet, and that metal patch smells of either repairs or modifications. That number isn’t a callsign (which would normally start with “N” in the US and would be on the tail, so it must have another significance, like a brand or company identifier.
One thing I appreciate in the manner in which she’s drawn. She’s not a 50DDDD as many artist tend to draw females. She is more natural looking even if she has an eye patch, and obviously she’s not your ‘girl next door’
I appreciate Jen’s comment, but in the spirit of escapist entertainment, which is how I see the strip, it’s OK for anyone, male or female however their identity runs, , to appreciate an intriguing & sexily drawn character, as long as it’s not done in an offensive manner.
One of the greatest comic strip artists, Milton Caniff, had some of the most beautiful female fatales ever drawn in Terry and the Pirates and Steve Canyon. Who could ever forget Dragon Lady?

Is that our cowboy boots wearing lady, Perenelle?

That looks like Brenda Starr. If so is she wearing Basil St. John’s eyepatch?

There is something very wrong when the male human species gets all “worked up” over a comic female.

It may be Nicole Fury?

A hot blonde with an eye patch. She’s got to be involved with the Spirit, somehow.

My apologies if I’m posting dups. I cannot tell if it’s on my end, or Gocomics.

So I take it, from all the comments, that no one knows who she is?

Perenelle? Where from, so nattily attired, whither bound? And why, oh why?
I am pretty sure it’s not a transgendered Basil St.John (pronounced “sin-gin”)….

Could this be Basil St. John’s daughter, Starr St. John, who presumably might have inherited Basil’s eye condition?
