Clayton: Snowed in! This is awesome!
Katy: I know! I love this! I'm gonna sit right here and watch movies and play video games and...
Clayton: Should've seen that coming.
Katy: This is when the wolves come, isn't it?
I remember loving power outages when I was a kid. There is something about using candles and flashlights that I always thought was cool. When I was real young, we even had a wood cooking stove, so we still had heat when the power went out.
I used to love it when the power went out. Lots of candles and a book or everybody sat down and played some cards or a board game. Different though since we don’t rely on electricity for house heating. (and no wolves up here either!)
Aside from trees being an issue, heavy wet snow accumulating on power lines can lead to them snapping. Also, an accumulation of wet snow on pole breakers can cause them to open leading to power loss.

And that kids, is why you have a generator.

Darn trees. It should be illegal to have a tree near a power line.

We have a generator and a propane tank large enough to run it for ten days.

But overhead power lines add so much to the ambiance.

It’s fun watching TV and playing video games by candle light.

Looking into a natural gas power generator..
the distributor stores enough gas to run their generator to pump the gas to me.

You want to stay warm, strip down and cover up skin-to-skin with others there, that is the best way to stay warm. No joke.

Isn’t Adam from the Seattle area? Because we have NOT had any snow to speak of! It was the only thing (SNOW) I wanted for Christmas.
