Fitting, Over the Hedge movie on last night for us 4 million in Guadalajara. You see more when it’s filtered thru another language. Cool til the Extermin8r arrived, then too dark to plough thru foreign words, maybe it’s the times. Today, Gary Shandling’s name on the 2016 year in review (in Spanish).
Happy year cross-over to all Hedgers (means to protect a bet by advance actions). Resolved, to me:. Pay GoComics subscription on time tho we can skate; quit putting off ordering the authors and artists books and art, even tho certain foreign countries have almost non-existent mail service … Resolved to all and me:. stop taking our country for granted and dive into that “comprehensive ocean” (Marley, Jacob) of things we can still do (good) esp. in these times as our Artists hold our hand (N.B. that we thank their families and backers, too, for help holding the background fabric (it’s tapestry and tap-dancing) together no matter what).

Every night, sleep blinks out our consciousness without our fear of never awakening; dreams, our companions, escort us in our quest to again awaken; a fresh new day yet as always, weighed down by our past. Hope, sweet hope entices us to live another day, per chance the ending thereof better than those that came before. It is the ebb and flow of our consciousness, not the suns arc that determines the quality of our existence, and by the quality of our thoughts, determining the outcome of our deeds. Here’s to the next thought, may it usher in the awareness of our next opportunity to joyfully live. Then though after thought we live until oblivion again restarts the cycle anew.
