Still, it needs a baseball bat vs Pastis panel.

Reminds me of one of Bart Simpson’s prank calls to Moe the bartender.“Hello, is Oliver there?”“Oliver who?”“Oliver Clothesoff.”

I didn’t get this until I read someone say it was a “who’s on first” routine. I was so confused. I was expecting a pun.

Goat is going to send Pig out in pieces next as he opens his new company “Black and Blue Label Bacon” Bacon boxed and sent straight to your door. Bacon it’s what we are doing for Breakfast… Black and Blue Bacon not available in all areas. Eat responsibly. With good bacon comes good responsibility.

It took me a couple minutes of mouthing the words before I realized where he was going with this one.

Pronoun trouble-Goat would have used “he”, not “it”, but of course there’s no joke if he does. Bad, Pastis…

I think the prequel would be, “And put all of her in the box”….

So…it IS a pun strip, just not a good one.

I don’t get it. All I get from it is Oliver, the fish, is in the box, chopped up in pieces. I guess there is a play on words I’m just not seeing.

Bad pun bad pun… Oliver (all of her) in the box. Now if we can get Pastis and out of the box (Past this)

Too bad Rat’s in Washington, we needed him to punish Pastis…

I love it! Though I confess it took me a minute to get it — it works a little better in a live sketch than when you’re reading it.

Okay, I didn’t get it at first; I thought Pig had disassembled the fish as well as the statue, because he’s just dumb enough to do it.

The joke would have been a lot clearer if Pig’s speech balloon in panel 3 had said, “All of her’s in this box.”

I’m not sure who’s the dummy here, Pig or Goat.

But I’m leaning toward Goat.

If I were eating Italian just now, and Goat were female, you could call me the leaning to ’er of pizza. I’m leaving now.

I had to come here to read the comments before I got it. I agree it might have worked better if Pig didn’t know the name of the fish.

Wow, I did not get the pun for the longest time.

Really hard to figure out, but where’s the fish now?
