I like to think of myself as “environmentally sensitive”…But I’ll never understand the notion that the only animals that aren’t allowed to carve out a “territory” are…humans.

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

Taxus baccata is a conifer native to western, central and southern Europe, northwest Africa, northern Iran and southwest Asia. It is the tree originally known as yew, though with other related trees becoming known, it may now be known as English yew, or European yew.

    From WNEP:

WEST WYOMING — State game officials say four bears found dead in Luzerne County were poisoned but not by a person.

The mother bear and her three cubs were found earlier this month near a church parking lot in West Wyoming.

Conservation officers considered the deaths suspicious, but after examining two of the bears, the game commission now says they died from eating English yew plants.

As I have said, the Wiley Bear or (Ursus Wilius adaptus ) is singular in many ways from other noted adaptive mutations we have seen. The Wiley Bears have a near human intelligence that favors jokes, traps, and ironic comment on survival and taste in humans, they find so tasty in the first place. Unlike the ancient and furtive homo canis Wolfin, the WB are more playful and somehow have a means of being around their prey who do not notice them! Perhaps some pheromone is at work he. Only approaching them breathing air from tanks or filtered and they even be seen! Though their prints, one displays, etc. It is a persistent menace and yet with humanity reproducing at an ever increasing rate about 4% – 6% rise yearly some are muttering about, “Nature’s way” which is disconcerting. Where the Wolfin, disease, access to food, clean water have all not stopped the growth of humans in their billions. Others mutter darkly that the ancient Malthusian Cult is responsible, though there are no such indicators as yet of it. Catching a WB is extremely hard!

Wonder where all the urban coyotes hang? I fear that their favorite hot dogs are named Fifi, and come with a nice side of pink sweater to floss with. The California Cougar clan usually dine al fresco on hiking trails I hear.
