Remember, you can’t spell “ethics” without “thic”!

Ethics, a nice concept when you follow it. Don’t trust anyone who thinks ethics are not

important. Just as those who find business deals important and human life not important.

When do the “Do Not Think” signs go up?

It’s later than we think. Trump has put a gag order on all government employees, they can’t talk to the media…..Also, the government is deleting files about global warming, pollution information, and anything they don’t like…..

I notice the doors are locked from the outside.

@VARNES: I seem to be breaking my promises to myself left and right these days. (Promised not to post here). Anyway, if you want advance notice of how many US departments and their employees will fare in future, just take a look at how Florida has been doing under Governor Vader.

The employees of DEP were forbidden to use terms like ‘global warming’ or ‘climate change’. The Department in charge of managing lands purchased for preservation was required to come up with ways to make the land ‘pay for itself’ by allowing additional grazing of cattle (contributes to surface water pollution in areas specifically set aside to prevent that), and the Department of Education was directed to not only continue former Gov Jeb’s policies of inundating public schools with so many tests that most classroom time is spent on test prep, but also to increase the vouchers to private schools not subject to ‘accountability testing’.

The ombudsmen for nursing home patients was eliminated. Low income parents of disabled kids who applied for Medicaid funds for home health care for the kids sometimes found their kids removed from their homes and shipped to the first available nursing home bed (and this did not save money.)

they are trying to figure out what are ethics and next maybe they will work on what are morals…

There’s that ethics committee… entirely unconcerned about ethics and limiting itself to explore a narrow definition of legality.

The first rule on Stupidity is that you will invariably underestimate just how many stupid people are out there, and they vote!

I was in my doctor’s waiting room with one of the news (well at least they think what they put out is news) channels was on. Some Republican started talking about ethics and I had to stifle my guffaw.
