It’s been obvious for some months that Toni is very much in love with Brad. There’s nothing one-sided about their love. But recently, it’s also becoming obvious that Toni has a strong libido and is quite hot to trot, not shy about taking initiative. It would seem that Mr. Brad is quite a luck man.

In addition to budgeting for things such as rent, food, electricity, car payments and insurance, firefighters usually have to take continuing education classes in such things as handling hazardous materials. Not all employers will pay for those classes, although most employers will require them as a condition of remaining employed. For those who are paramedics, there are additional continuing education requirements to stay certified. Uniforms can also be an expense that an employer may not cover, or may only partly cover..

The expenses of firefighters who are asked to work outside their assigned jurisdictions during emergencies are also not always covered by an employer or reimbursed by an employer. These can be tax deductible, but you have to pay for them first. So some firefighters may have an ‘emergency fund’ that they set aside, just in case.

For me, I hope for Shannon or some other issue, distraction, or burden comes along to keep visible (to the comic audience) displays of their “passions” off the table. I like comedic payoff, and am hoping Luann does not become the next 9 Chickweed Lane. Now before folks here start suggesting I am a “prude” or worse…. I am not a prude…. I just happen to like Luann, the comic strip, as a family-focused strip…. which it has always been.

    .

For me personally, I do not need to see Brad and Toni drawn to be "passionate"…. I can easily imagine on my own what they “do” behind the scenes when Greg’s pencil is not making them visible to us.

    .

While I will accept (of course) whatever Greg chooses to do here…. I for one am rooting for comedic payoff instead of the oft spoken by many here to see their “passions”.
