Maybe they should call him Mr Slpatzle.

That’s GOTTA hurt.

Finally a strip where no one is pointing. (Would that make this a pointless strip, or would that be considered an unkind gesture?)

Someone give that man a tall, covered coffee cup!

With the idea that his Starbucks cup appears to still have the lid on, that seems an awfully big spill. I guess the presumption is that he was jostled while driving and bumped the cup and the lid popped off and spilled on him. Then, he put the lid back on the (small amount of) remaining coffee.

I feel Principal Spaetzel’s pain. Fortunately, I have never spilled hot coffee on myself, but a few times I have had a “Big Gulp” open up in that fashion and drench my face and shirt. It would be much worse with hot coffee. But, I have thus far been lucky in that regard. But, then again, I tend to let my coffee go to room temperature before I drink it anyhow, so it would be the same as the “Big Gulp” anyhow.

Principal Spaetzel is such a great character! He is the “every-man” in all of us. I so much enjoy “Frazz” when he is featured.

Mr. Spaetzel may need to see a doctor about his problem holding a cup.

Mr. Spaetzle gives new meaning to the term ‘drinking problem’. (My wife, by her own admission, has the same problem.)
