With the new “expanded” strips I have to shrink my screen to 67% to be able to see it in a size that makes sense.

And it’s not like we’re looking at Winsor McCay here, either. The new huge format they’re putting up for Buni makes Mr. Pagelow’s art look less impressive, IMO. The (relative) simple presentation of locations and characters waste the additional real estate.
There’s really no point of seeing these characters and backgrounds in so large a format (in addition to the annoyance of having to make the extra click to ‘open’ the strip versus the former horizontal display).
