Bravo, Schroeder, for leaving the room. (Poor Frieda.)
At her age, I would have rather kissed a dog than a boy. The very idea of Kissing a boy was “Bleahh!”
What a dirty trick
Alpo breath!
Calm down, Frieda, have a glass of Beethoven and relax.

Schroeder never locked his door, which was why Lucy (or Frieda, or Snoopy) could just waltz right on in, whenever they felt like it.
“My lips touched dog lips! Ugh! Poison dog lips!”
Panel 6: Frieda with the naturally disgusted expression!
Happiness is reading a Sunday Peanuts strip like this one!

If only I could’ve had someone like Snoopy back then to take the kisses for me. I always managed to run away, but still, it would’ve been better if someone substituted it.
