‘The Spirit’ is probably a mass of scar tissue, if today’s run-in is any indication.

Next stop is Pouch’s balloon stand.

Gosh! Will Tracy pinch Pouch?

This should settle the question of whether it was the Spirit or just his wardrobe that was wounded.

And Tracy just points out what others have commented on in the past few days: that this wasn’t the type of crime the Brush was known for.

So what seemed like the only criminal plot, or a minor subplot, looks like it might be part of a bigger criminal plot more central to the story.

Don’t know what rig you’re on, Mr. Wick, but you have scared me off the refurbs. I figure they were turned back in due to personal preference or an unruly malfunction and your experience is confirming the latter !  I am considering an ASUS Q534UX, when the price drops to a more “comfortable” level.

Now who tipped Brush about the auction or the money? If the auction is not known to the pubic, how come Pouch know about it. It seems like the auction is known to people who are not supposed to know about it. If it is really a super secret auction or an invitation only auction, who among the bidders leaked the info. I doubt if Diet Smith or Warbucks would leak it. Is it Octopus/Mr. Carrion? The Dragon Lady? And could it be the 5th bidder?

Julia probably couldn’t close its large beak. LOL

The facial hair of Brush does not look like a wig but real growth of hair.

Brush says he isn’t singing through that facial growth. Tracy knows that stewing for a while sometimes loosens tongues, however. But someone’s dropped word of the auction into the criminal underground. How did Perenelle first advertise the auction to her select clientele? And, given that the word got out, could Mr. Big be the Mystery Fifth Bidder? —That would help tie in a bunch of threads tighter than the Spirit’s new sutures! Or what about Mr. Am? Am ways are not scrutable….

Looks like the Spirit is halfway to being debriefed already in that last panel.

My guess would be Double-up tipped off pouch.

Ok, something is definitely stirring between a couple of the characters! Oh boy!

Why do I picture Tracy saying; “AYE!

I’m going to guess that Pouch got the info from Double-Up. There is no honor among thieves! LOL

Y’know… looking at that panel where Brush tells Tracy that he isn’t talking… he kinda reminds me of Jerry’s (of tom and jerry fame) Uncle Pecos :)

Okay,I’m a little late here,but this was Curtis’ supreme boner so far.But Brush wore a full face disguise so No.2 so this could be any cheap hood trying to cash in on the original’s reputation.That’s Mike’s way out and he’s stuck with it.
