Actually, Winslow, that is a technique frequently used by mental health professionals. Carmen, maybe as a Republican you should learn to think for yourself and not automatically follow the will of the “Party”. Maybe you could be an example of where a Republican can put country ahead of “Party”, but frankly the last 20 years would say No. You should never have listened to Newt Gingrich.
I read an article that said Liberalism is a mental disorder. I then ran across a “related story” which said Conservatism is a mental disorder. The logical conclusion is that all politicians are nuts!
No matter what the comments are here, I kinda liked this toon. It ‘splains a lot of the recent seizures when I see the PAC’s advertise. It may also ’splain the reason for the tics around my right eye.
I grew up in a “Conservative Republican” household, back in the days of Eisenhower, later recognizing a guy named Mark Hatfield who voted against the nuttier factions taking over the party. Thinking Trump and his crew are “Republicans” is simply a delusion. Nixon, Reagan, even GHW were pretty much the end of the line for an endangered species and W/Cheney/ Rumsfled/ Wolfowitz saw the species die out as a viable population. “Conservative” means to conserve. Watt was a warning of what Trump hath wrought, no conservation required, and now Watt looks like a mild mannered religious “good guy”, well not quite but what the heck.
You can disagree with your leaders and it doesn’t make to disloyal. Mr father had a quote: “T’he only people who will tell you the truth are ‘Your best friends or your worst enemies’” Preisdent Trump was my 3rd choice and he is much better than the alternative.
