I was surprised by the president’s speech last night. It was well written. He stayed on point. No matter your opinion on Trump, it was a rousing speech. A departure from what we’ve seen so far.
Rodney King, “Why can’t we all just get along?”; Tom Cruse’s character Cage in Edge of Tomorrow, “We’re doomed, doomed!”: somewhere between those two lies the secret to bipartisanship. I voted, I won, I rule: one person one vote or as my 2 year old used to say, mine, mine; then, back to coda (rinse and repeat) which usually happens at the mid-terms. Same song, different verse. Politics is much like “Groundhog Day” on steroids.
Come back down to earth, Carmen. For one thing, Trump is already a better president than your Gary Jackson (or whatever his name was) could ever have been.

When a hardcore Republican like Stantis is writing stuff like this, you know things are bad…

Trump read a real good speech off the teleprompter, the “drain the swamp” line got a good laugh.

That was 8 years ago Carmen. We’re safe now. We have a leader who actually wants to make America better, not suck up to the idiots in the UN.
