How about the glass is half full/half empty alternative factoid? Like Tom Cruse in Edge of Tomorrow (Groundhog Day on steroids) “I’m gonna tell you a story. It’s gonna sound ridiculous. The longer I talk, the more rational it’s going to appear.” That is a great example of “alternative facts”.
