Which boat exactly do you mean Arlo? The one that you used to sail the seven seas and brave the typhoons and hurricanes? Or, the one that Gene lived on and that you bought from Gus?
Yes Arlo I remember several boat arcs. From yachts to dinghys. To which are you referring? And what’s with the sporting jacket? (This strip is often cryptic and/or esoteric, but eventually I get it? This time I’m all at sea! Bwaaa, haaa, haaa!)
gosh the last time the boat was brought up Bush was president. i thought the boat was destroyed in Hurricane Sandy. same almost for mention of their kid.
Well,it’s about our time to take a two month leave from ole Arlo and Janis..between the time it takes to make dinner on Venus and have a family on Mars, and now boat geometry…well, let’s just say, I hope the effects wear off old Jimmy in due time…..BTW Jimmy, if you you have any extra of that stuff you’re using, please send it along to………
I’ve never owned a boat. But many people on this site might recognize the saying “The two happiest days in a boat owner’s life are the day he buys the boat, and the day he sells it”. Not being a boat owner, I can’t speak to the truth of that statement— but it’s funny, in any event.

Tomorrow, Arlo will tell us that the last time we saw the boat was really only a month ago in “comics time.”
Trying to help Jimmy cover up the fact that he forgot about it…

I think the last time we saw Arlo’s boat my kids were still in elementary school.
I’m anxious to see what he’s been up to with it.

I was wondering where he was going with this. It’s a lame excuse.

This has been the best week in the history of comic strips! Brilliant.

And what about time-traveling Meg, who apparently jumps back and forth a few years?
