Coroner? That doesn’t sound good. (Hey, what’s with the new web interface?)

Ramon never fell! What good is a high rise building without a 29 floor drop? Will Double Am be the one to provide a much needed Wilhelm scream?

The rain on Tracy is even more amazing than it was yesterday. He’s calling for a coroner, not even an EMT, so I think it’s safe to say that Ramon is “very dead.”

I’m a bit confused by the floor number. I thought it was the 29th, rather than the 27th. The floor numbers seem to jump around a bit in this strip. Maybe someone will meet the coroner on the 27th? The coroner presumably wouldn’t have clearance for the 28th floor and higher.

Double Am is being introduced to the table top. I think that means that the Spirit has that situation under control.

Somehow I don’t think Double Am will have the type of true appreciation for the wood grain of that table one would normally have. He will have some appreciation of the toughness of the wood tho……

‘The Spirit’ is tabling that discussion.

They should have played “Lightning Strikes” by Lou Christie, “Thunder And Lightning” by Chi Coltrane, or “Lightning Strikes” by Aerosmith.

You would think Tracy’s priority would be to help Spirit out with Am.He can call for the coroner later.

Iconic Tracy in panel one. The rain pours down. Foul Ramon is done. Spirit has a crafty notion. Swing the Double and table his motion.

The countless explanations that are needed will require another month……., but I, for one, am willing to forego them for a fresh story. Do you reckon Sam and his posse of backup professionals are through stuffing their faces with free donuts? They do have a dispatch, you know.

@Neil Wick I know you are having computer problems but I thought you might want to hear this. The replies and index bookmarklets do not work as intended in both Firefox 52 and Chrome 56 on Win7.

In Replies, although it expands the replies, the post+reply count it returns is incorrect. The script does not count the number of replies. In Index, the bookmarklets only indexes comments. Replies are no longer listed in the table. Links, Save strip and Open strip are working fine.

The latest improvement probably changed the name of the variables that you are counting.

Staton’s work here (and much of late) is wonderful. The writing is not bad, but I’d hoped for a little more fun from this story.

Send the Meat Wagon Guy to the 27th floor? 28th? 29th? Ah, well; what’s a few floors more or less among friends? But it is confusing. The Spirit seems to have shaken off, at least for now, the effects of his “graze”-wound, and the questionable sling has become his weapon-of-opportunity! Big Double Am seems like a prime example of “the bigger they are, the harder they fall.” Take that to the table for discussion!

(And, if interested, see my reckless rant on the GC “improvements,” appended to the first batch of Replies, under the first post [by Don Bagert], above.)
