Actually, a number of my son’s teachers recounted in later years how he had forced them to realize kids are also individuals, not from cookie cutters, and a mutual respect, rather than dominance, was the key to education for many kids who don’t fit the mold, like the very intelligent ones who indeed do march to different drummers.
