At least UPS lets you pick up the package when it isn’t delivered. Useful tip – be nice to your UPS delivery person, and find out which week he/she leaves for vacation. DO NOT order a delivery for that week. If you do, chances are you’ll be picking it up at the UPS hub when the substitute can’t find your house.
I always insist on using The Postal Service because they have a key to get into the outer vestibule (or if it is too big etc. the local P.O. is within walking distance), The other guys end up leaving it on the sidewalk because the neighbors have tired of answering the bell for someone else ’s packages. Many were stolen over the holidays.
