This story is reminiscent of the time that ‘Gruesome’ crashed the MonsterCon convention, also held at the Locher Auditorium.

Thoughts on the Three Margies: After spending too much time looking at Svengoolie YouTube videos, I noticed one in which Sven was introduced by the Three Stooges. My guess now is that was the function of the Three Margies.

By the by, I think the Jerry G. Bishop Svengoolie was the best. He makes Rich Vox look like he takes himself seriously!

Good morning guys!

Great “behind the scenes”-look at the Svengoolie show set and at Sven himself. And I think the cameraman/floor director in panel 2 is a Real Life person, too: I just came from that social networking site, where I saw a post of this (today’s) strip by a gentleman to the Svengoolie (fan) page implying that it was he; unfortunately I don’t recall his name, but I just went back there and found it: Edward Reed.

Sven is my one Saturday night TV “must see,” but I may miss at least some of this week’s show in favor of Easter services (it’s a good one, too: Oliver Reed in Curse of the Werewolf)….

Seem to remember Svengoollie hosting one of these Cosplay conventions some time back. Hmmm! Oh well! enjoying the crossover.

I think it would be hilarious to have Svengoolie stop whatever criminal appears with a rubber chicken….

Today’s strip is to tell everyone that Svengoolie really is a TV horror movie host and show him in his natural habitat (he’s a free-range host). So everyone who said, “Who’s he” yesterday can stop checking Google.
