@weakstream and geophyzz: Rethinking my reply: I think geophyzz nailed it. Fish waited all those years to evolve only to be prevented by a beach vollyball game that could have wiped it out. Personally I believe beach volleyball qualifies as an evolutionary process only in the minds and ids of certain viewers.
In the book “The Rocks Don’t Lie: A Geologist Investigates Noah’s Flood” BY BY Montgomery, David it was the Christian geologist that were searching for a world wide flood that ended up with the first evidence for evolution. Evolution is just slow creation.

Fish is just embarrassed to be crawling out on land like it is a great triumph, only to see a bunch of agile humans playing volleyball.
