As turoc15 stated, all the presentable reporters/anchors of Canada (such as Hilary Bowker, Peter Jennings, Sheila McVicar…) tend to head south leaving only the uglies/inarticulates such as Harvey Kirck, Knowlton Nash and Peter Mansbridge to “service” home.

But Roland should be perfect for ANY show-biz job, including teevee “news.” He has two essential qualifications: He never ages and he’s as thick as two planks.

Maybe a new hat, dude…He’s had that one since Vietnam!

Both Zipper and Roland are reflections of different segments of Americans.

I suspect that GT will stop using then if they ever lack relevance.

Actually, I’ve read that adult actresses are not too happy with the new Blu-ray technology for the same reason as Roland.

Technology caused the problem, technology can fix it. A skin smoothing app is all that’s required.
