I was a heavy smoker until I finally quit at age 40. It never bothered my, back then, to go into a bar where they still allowed smoking. That was the other person’s right to light up, where they chose, when they chose.
How times have changed ! Thirty-two years later, I find I am very sensitive to secondhand smoke, and avoid being too close to a smoker because of the lingering odor ( which of course, they can’t smell ) that clings to their clothes and bodies.
The days of my hanging out in smoky bars or smoked filled rooms are long gone !
