    I knew a guy who raised turtles for the commercial trade when turtle pets were popular. He told me two headed turtles were quite common.

    When I was a kid, I went to a summer camp that had a two-headed snake and a two-headed turtle preserved in formaldehyde. This was in eastern North Carolina, nowhere near Charlotte.
