Yes. It is so very difficult to imagine that things could ever be worse than they are today. Nobody in all of history has ever had it so bad as we do now. Our troubles are so insurmountable, and our righteous causes, so pure and noble as they are, are so destitute of hope. People throughout all of time and the infinite universes must look to our time and place as the absolute worst of all worlds.
Why, any action, informed by the Best and the Brightest of the wursts among the worst, no matter how foolish some uninformed idiots who care only about themselves and their own might believe it to be, could possibly be worse than the current situation.
And the alternative was a corrupt crony politician who supported the status quo of getting into bed with big business like Goldman Sachs to the tune of 153 million dollars. An ex-president typically charges 250-K per speech people.

Apart from the political part, Dad, on the Earths where Danae is a good girl, Kate is probably trouble. There has to be balance.

From _Deteriorata: ‘you are the fluke of the universe and whether you can hear it or not, the universe is laughing behind your back.’
That song hit the airwaves in 1972, but it could have been specifically designed for the last election outcome.
