I do like how this is a rare moment when both sides have a point: Calvin’s annoyed that Susie’s giving away his position and being snarky, Susie’s annoyed with Calvin for being… Calvin.

In panel 3, Calvin shows he has skill for striking a pose.

An idiotic play, really!!

Maggie “milk snatcher” Thatcher only started this war about a few sheep because her poll numbers were flagging.

Why does Susie want to play with an idiot like Calvin anyway? Maybe she isn’t as smart as I thought.

If the game is as idiotic as Suzy says, then one wonders why she wants to play.

I wonder what Watterson has done all these years since he stopped writing this strip. I think it would be neat to fast forward to 2017 and see what Calvin and the rest of the characters in the strip are doing now. Hobbes could be handed down to Calvin’s son and thus continue in the strip.

With Calvin’s imagination he could be a Presidential speechwriter for a living.

It would be even better if Calvin had a daughter that he gave Hobbes to. Imagine the new dynamic.
