There was another grammatical screwup in the first panel – Pig ended his sentence with a preposition.

That is one weird-looking character. Did Mr. Peabody have an affair with Wilma Flintstone?

Methinks Pastis has slipped his moorings! Oh wait, that happened YEARS ago!

I honestly didn’t notice the second “the” in the first panel until Pig brought it up.

Even though I hated grammar and punctuation in school, bad grades and all. It really paid off in life. Once got me a damn good job over a superior candidate.

This is why I love Pearls Before Swine – for strips like this that poke fun at the entire comic strip genre!

The errors in grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling are how I know that it’s a genuine PBS and not an imitation.

Ahhh, hahaha! There’s a spelling eror in the last speech balloon!

If you want to know what Pig’s last line SHOULD be…" Ha Ha, That’s the last error we’ll ever make!"

And finally — something actually punny in PBS.

That is NOT an error in grammar. Its evilness stems from the typographical realm.

I sure hope that poor fellow doesn’t have to cover the comments section, too… ☺

Actually there are 3 errors in the last panels speech balloon for Pig.

Never hire anyone who says “fudge”

And lest we miss the point of this strip the 2 extra commas in panel 2. So, he went a perfect 3 for 3 on panels with grammatical errors.

In the “supreme testing” category, “editor” is mis-hyphenated in the first panel.

I hope the GoComics Grammar Nazis learn from this. Your smugness won’t last.
