I’m old,and I did not vote for either of the two ridiculously unsuitable Presidential candidates. When Ferguson was in the news, one of the cable news talking heads said, “Don’t underestimate the extent of black anger”, and I thought, “Don’t underestimate the extent of white anger either.” I heard leftists over the years voice concern that there may be upheavals arising from the left. I heard rightists angrily calling for a “conservative majority” to “take back our country”. Now I see leftists calling for “resistance”, and urging state and local authorities to defy federal laws. Heck, I thought Tea Party types have been the “resistance” for the past decade, and “states’ rights” and defiance of federal authority were right wing rhetoric. I see we’ve all changed places while I was busy living life. My, my; the times certainly change while they stay the same.
Why is there a face on the right, Scott? Don’t we all know that all the shouting comes from the left, and the right is a model of decorum and civility? Isn’t that the thrust of the entire trump campaign, rational discussion of issues with reasonable solutions?
I don’t know how much more winning this country can take. It feels like we’ve all lost our moorings and drifting in a sea of anger and vitriol. Unless we can start behaving rationally we’re likely heading for an all out Civil War

“Burn down the White House”? “F**K YOU”? “Cut off his head”? “Assassinate Caesar”? Yep, sounds like the Evil Right all right.

Making the USA into the Empire they always wanted. An angry one who acts without thinking deeply with weapons of mass destruction at their disposal.
