Arlo’s remark shows a very common misconception. The same error is found in claims that ants are strong because they can lift many times their weight. With respect to jumping, physics teaches that it’s the absolute distance that counts. The cat’s jumping on to the bed is equivalent to Arlo’s jumping on to the bed.

I jumped off the roof of my parents house a couple times when I was much younger… not a chance at 52 I’d do that again.

When discerning Jimmy J’s offerings one must always be aware of innuendo. Janet may be offering an opinion about Arlo’s libido lately. What say you?

I’m confused…if it’s simple for a cat to jump on a bed, then, a comparable jump for Arlo is something simple, not jumping up on a garage.
