That would be Mr. Hickman, likely suffering from smoke inhalation. I think that kills more people than games do

At this point it looks like Tracy will only indirectly save BJ because Blackjack might have died trying to save both of the injured people.

For a bad guy, Blackjack is a very good guy.

Dick Tracy with his hat really on fire! Fireman’s carry allows you to carry far more than you would expect in the way of weight.

I give you a C for this, but a A+ for the rest. Overall a splendid job little timmy! Well done!

The more I think about it, the more I think the lady might be Fritz Ann. If it was a Federal bank, it would be under her jurisdiction. And if she is Fritz Ann, Sam will gladly carry her out!

So Blackjack, along with Blaze Rize and Doubleup, are all Mike Curtis-created villains who have displayed a good side. A good side!

The problem with"good guy" villains is that they don’t make for very suspenseful stories.

Geez, it does a fella good to see these two lovable lugs toting out the overcome and saving them from the flames! And it’s a good thing both Blackjack and Tracy are wearing hats with brims to save their heads and shoulders from the flaming embers. Now, save your breath, guys, and trim the dialogue: you’ll need all the oxygen you can gather to make your ways through the smoke and out into the street!

I’m guessing that Blackjack is carrying the real villain of this piece, Fleischer S & L Manager Frank Hickman. I don’t know who the lady Tracy bears may be; maybe a secretary if she was in or near Hickman’s office or office suite, possibly a teller or customer. I think it is not Fritz Ann.

And where the heck are those fire engines and crews? Our hero and antihero will need to get some pure oxygen!

What kind of hazard would an abandoned Tommy gun pose to firefighters in this situation? In the interest of karma, I hope Blackjack doesn’t end up causing any accidental injuries.
