I get the impression that Walter wasn’t told the whole story, and that he was used to keep a thoroughly distraught Heather Hoss from jumping…only for her to be arrested.
I didn’t see that coming. Now Walter will feel guilty for unwittingly setting Heather up for her arrest. Heather may feel betrayed by Walter, but may believe he knew nothing of what the police intended. Though we’ll see what happens at the trial. I hope the truth prevails and the wolves get a comeuppance. Hopefully more will be revealed about the pigs’ disappearances; it’s likely tied in somehow.
I’m less angry at them arresting heather, after all she did beat a guys skull into a fine red paste, but more that they had poor Walt think he was actually going to save the poor girl.
Hopefully she’ll be declared mentally unstable and checked into a hospital bed instead of a jail cell.
When someone is covered with blood and trying to avoid the police, arrest is expected. Walter should have known this would happen and probably did, but his first priority was to save her.
She’s covered in blood and wolf bits. It’s a given that the person who saw her in the alley called the police and gave them a full description. This was inevitable. Now we get a long, drawn out “who’s the real victim here” story. For years I absolutely sucked at predicting what was going to happen here. Now it sucks that it’s so obvious. :-/
Guess I called it Wednesday: Get her off the roof so we can hang her in the justice system. Or, as Robert Barton suggested, she commits suicide in jail! Robert Nowall: As screwed up as this place is, for all we know, as you said, the penalty for attempted suicide may well be death!
Hope you get well soon. Is it the same old thing? the Mersa? Or have they found a more probable diagnosis? As always, we are all pulling or you to beat this thing entirely, we would feel the same even if you Weren’t the best cartoonist around!

I suppose the penalty for suicide in Endtown is death.

I should’ve seen that coming…, but I didn’t. I guess she’s going to be fed to the wolves, after all.

Walter isn’t going to be so fast in helping the police next time.
I wonder if wolves ever get suicidal.
Night-Gaunt49[Bozo is Boffo] over 7 years ago
It is probably illegal to commit suicide.

Remember Zira from Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride? This is just like when she said, “Well done, Kovu. Just like we’ve always planned.”

I didn’t see that but this Was Unexpected. This police chief has never done anything like This before, has he?

No saying he did wrong, they no doubt could tell how that wolf died.

Sick again, folks. Two weeks hiatus at least, three at most. I may be in the hospital by the end of the day. Sorry about this.
