Today’s actual gag occurs in Panels 3, 5, and 6. And it’s classic Capp! I’m not sure what the purpose of panels 1, 2, and 4 are. They add nothing to the gag except s p a c e. Oh, well, a cheque’s a cheque, right?
On my first day on my new job, I was on the phone for ages trying to get through to the Benefits Helpline to stop my claim for Job Seekers Allowance and the line was so busy which is understandable because it was after Christmas, I finally got through on the 4th try.
Yeah, I know this has nothing to do with the strip but who the hell cares?
I personally don’t care how many panels a Sunday strip has. Sunday comics on here have ALWAYS had more panels. I don’t quite understand why people are still complaining.
I have yet to receive my first tax return because I have noticed on my payslip that I’m paying tax now. In the first 3 months of my job, I didn’t.
Me and Dad usually get on well but he gets these moods when me and Mum do something wrong. Even if it’s a small thing. Well if he doesn’t want anything to do with me then I don’t wish to have anything to do with him either. Just wait, I’ll get all these lectures from commenters on here saying “You should be grateful you have a Dad” Blah Blah Blah…
Why was your Mum like that with Connie? I think Connie is a lovely lady despite never actually meeting her.

I’m short too, I’m only 5’2
The short one does apply to me. And the cute one!

Unlike Andy, I am glad to be employed and have a paycheck. Still, It’s nice to get off from work and go home to relax. Being a workaholic is no fun.
