She had thought to win more often by visualizing rolling Brad’s head down the lane, but it turned out to be detrimental. Catharsis was equal to losing in this instance.

You know how easily this could have been made a political cartoon?

The male human head represents our failed (gutter ball) patriarchal societies, whereas matriarchal societies, symbolized here by a pregnant “melon” form are deemed a strike/the best. There are a few matriarchal societies in existence. Perhaps the world would be better off if women ran things. The state of affairs in the world today couldn’t be any worse. Men start wars, wage terror, and are the perpetrators of most murders, practically ALL rapes, honor killings, FGM, and a host of other violent testosterone-driven crimes against women, children, and ANIMALS (poaching)! (Oops, I almost wrote “violet crimes”, which is bad for the flowers of the world, too.)

Melons, on the other hand, keep their rinds out of the gutter…

The Dude Abides

Gladys truly believes that when life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade. Brad always was a pinhead.

When she uses the melon, she’s a top seeded competitor (although how well that works with the seeds only on top is both a mystery and a possible violation of the rules).

“Gladys” and “Brad” (as they have been dubbed, though evidence is lacking) are acharming couple, now that she has disembodied him. Toss a melon, toss a Brad-head (rather lumpy and irregularly shaped). What A night of bowling.

Once upon a time, bowling was actually popular on TV (this was in ye olde blacke and whyte dayes). Remember Whisperin’ Joe Wilson?

Anyway, it’s good to see “Gladys” becalmed after beheading, because some lesser folk might be a tad agitated….
