Roscoe adapted rather quickly.

Roscoe = pack animal = follows the alpha … no being jerked around involved

If any other dogs see Roscoe like this, they’ll tease him for life.

Well there are some creatures who like having a boss :) humans “love” to be bossed around by cats too ;)

Roscoe is the new and improved metrosexual man in touch with a culture that has turned itself upside down. He probably spends a lot of his shopping hours in the botique section of pet stores.

I think the whole idea of this series of strips is how it parallels the relation ship of Earl and Opal.

To those among you trying to find “deep significance” to this strip – Roscoe is ‘suffering’ from “Stockholm Syndrome!” To the rest of you, it’s the only way Roscoe can get Muffin to ‘play with him’ and he’ll take what he can get!

Roscoe could use to spend some time at the Pooch Cafe. The guys will set him straight!

Anyone who’s dumb enough to harbor a cat clearly knows what it’s like to be jerked around.

That’s the trouble with animals. They can’t speak therefore they can’t tell you what they want. They can just “whine” and look at you with those sad eyes.
