(I never had that stuff, but judging by the packaging, that would be my best guess for purple. That, or maybe Froot Loops.)

When you get accustomed to chemicals it’s hard to go back. Must be his dads grape nuts.

I’m not sure I ever ate any cereal that did! Fruit Loops was three different colors back then.

Purple?

A good cereal should turn the milk brown.

What about your favourite, Calvin — Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs?

Blueberry yogurt & granola; purple food.

If it doesn’t talk, if it’s not colorful, or if it’s not magically delicious, then he won’t eat it.

… and now we know what drives Mom stir crazy.

Flashback to childhood. I can name at least five breakfast cereals which actually had the word “sugar” in the name.

Or mushy. Where is the sugar rush crunch?

Oh, I love cereal. Cheerios and Rice Krispies especially.

Add two ounces of blueberries microwaved for 30 seconds if fresh, 60 seconds if frozen, and purple cereal milk is guaranteed :-)
