It’s not short for “Alfalfa?” I thought unicorns were into naming themselves after plants.

Methinks Alabaster is the second male unicorn in this series who has a name… the other being Lord Splendid Humility.

Seems to be more down to earth, natury kind of unicorn – or a horse that had a horn glued to his head.

I can call you Betty, And Betty when you call me

You can call me Al

Can we call you “Al”, or maybe just “din”, or… oh wait, wrong Al. Sorry.

My guess was wrong but the weird thing is I said that the same thing as somebody else but I told them they were wrong. I blame lack of sleep lol

I rememmber a similuar situation in the first years of Peanuts.

Except for his question in the first panel, he doesn’t seem notably crabby. And even there, his facial expression strikes me as fairly mild…. Of course, I am crabby, so perhaps my standards are different.

Why Alabaster? Alabaster means white. Marigold is more alabaster than he is.

Romance in the future?

I wonder if Max is about to get his own unicorn friend.
