I don’t like almost all Privatizations in general, and the very worst is privatized prisons. They should be against the law. We need Prison Reform Badly.
Privatization, on the whole, is merely a way for republicans to line their and their donor class’s pockets – it almost always results in higher prices and inferior service and in some cases, totally actually subverts the institution being ‘privatized’. Legislatures that have allowed “private” prisons to be formed, are then are subjected to intense pressure for harsher laws and longer sentences from the judiciary to keep the money flowing in. “Privatization” is basically a terribly flawed idea, just like the ridiculous idea behind “Trickle-Down Economics” which also been proven not to work!

Still hasn’t recovered from Reagan’s firing all unionized air traffic controllers. And we’ve seen how well ‘privitization’ works with the current TSA.
